Sewage emanating from Office buildings, Hotels, Shopping malls and apartments in a section of Jakarta’s Central Business District, are piped into this Sewage Treatment Plant.

The available area for the total facility is small – only 1250 m2.

This limited space necessitated the 10,000 m3/day MBBR (Moving Bed Bio Reactor) and recycle facility to be designed as a “double decker” arrangement.
